Leona Lewis was named Goodwill Ambassador for the United Kingdom, and Japan. This is really truely a big accomplishment.  Leona Lewis had this to say about being selected: “I’m really honored to become a Goodwill Ambassador for UK-Japan 2008. I recently visited Japan for the first time and I loved it. I’m very much looking forward to exploring such an amazing country further as well as supporting UK-Japan 2008. I’m very happy to have an opportunity to understand more about the wonderful country.”

Leona Lewis Better In Time Sweden Performance

This timed Leona Lewis performed for Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden for her 31st birthday. There were a couple thousand people in attendance, one of which included Victoria’s Mom and Father, also known as Queen and King of Sweden. It’s quite amazing that not too long ago Leona Lewis was apart of a singing comeptition, and not known around the world. Now Leona Lewis is performing around the world as a superstar!

Leona Lewis had this to say: “It was a really emotional moment for me. There were definitely a few tears. My auntie and grandmother would tell me stories about Nelson Mandela. I never dreamed I would be up there singing at his birthday celebration. It was very emotional performing for him.”
